However, she hadn’t been heard from since roughly 13 May.
She lived in a house in Palhoça, southwest of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with her husband and 15-year-old son.
The body was found under the kitchen floor during searches at the house on Wednesday (22 May).
Her cause of death was given as head trauma, as reported by Need To Know.
Neighbours had last seen them at home on the same day the missing person’s report was made.
After Michele’s disappearance, messages were sent from her phone.
One read: “I’m going through some things right now, and as soon as I can, we’ll talk. I just need to get myself together first.”
One friend said, “We don’t believe she sent those messages because they don’t match her writing style.”
Cops want to speak to her husband as part of the investigation.
Police chief Gisele de Faria Jerônimo said: “His whereabouts are unknown.
“The police need answers from him, but he isn’t considered a fugitive yet.
“There is no arrest warrant for him in this case at this time.”
