The suspect shoves the punter out of the way and fires three shots into the back of the unsuspecting victim’s head.
In a video filmed from the entrance, a frightened customer is seen appearing from the toilet with his pants around his ankles just after the bullets were fired.
The barman also appears to have had a lucky escape as the three bullets were fired in direct line with where he was standing.
The unnamed 27-year-old victim was shot dead in the neighbourhood of Patio Bonito in the Colombian capital Bogotá at around 11.15pm last Friday (7 Jun).
Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Leonardo Bernal Pérez said the shooting appeared to be a “settling of scores” between rival drug gangs.
The authorities said the victim had a criminal record for illegal possession of firearms and drug trafficking.
He had been released from prison three months before the attack.
He was the 74th murder victim in the area so far this year, as reported by Need To Know.
The area of Patio Bonito is considered a strategic point for distributing drugs to other parts of Bogotá and further afield in the country.
The police said there had been a violent turf war between rival gangs in the nearby neighbourhood of San José the night before the bar shooting.
The police investigation is ongoing.
