A mum-of-six who was planning her wedding has tragically lost her life after being shot.
According to local reports, the drive-by shooting occurred at her home in Gastonia, North Carolina, US.
Allegedly, bullets were “sprayed” into the house as she slept, while her mum and children watched a film.

Witnesses claim they thought fireworks were being set off, before realising it was a shooting.
The victim, who has been identified as Latasha Cureton, 39, was found by her son, after screaming “I’m hit” reports Need To Know.
Sadly, it was too late and she passed on 11 June 2024 (Tuesday).
At the time of the shooting, the mum-of-six was planning her wedding.
In family shared photos, the front door to the home is shown with 13 bullet holes – but it’s believed up to 40 were fired.
Now, to help with costs, a GoFundMe has been set up, currently with $5,090 raised out of $10,000 (USD) (£4,016 & £7,891).
“It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce the passing of a beloved mother, daughter, sister, cousin, niece, and friend, Latasha Cureton,” they said.
“she was deeply cherished, and brought so much love and light into our lives. She will be missed by all who knew her.”
As of 14 June 2024, no arrests had been made and the investigation is currently ongoing.
