The teenager was plucking mangoes from a tree when the horrific incident occurred.
Vikram Hembram, 13, fell while picking the fruit; causing a bamboo branch to pass through his shoulder, reports Need To Know.
His friends allegedly took him from Kedo Village, Sundarnagar, Jamshedpur, to Sadar Hospital for treatment.

Since then, he’s been referred to TMH for “better” treatment.
In a clip, he is shown sat in hospital being treated by nurses and doctors.
He looks down with the stick poking out of his shoulder and through the other side.
His family claim the teen was moving from one branch to another as he picked the fruit.
The house, where the tree is located, is lined with bamboo sticks at the bottom to create a boundary.
After losing his footing and falling, it is believed that he screamed, where people rushed to the scene.
Currently, his condition remains critical.
