This is the adorable moment a pack of bears enjoyed popsicles and a swim during a heatwave.
In cute images and footage shared by a charity, Alisha, Elvis, Molly and Hari can be seen licking iced fruit and splashing in the pool.
The bears, ranging between nine and 21 years old, have faced scorching temperatures in June, with highs of up to 52.3 degrees Celsius, as reported on Need To Know.
Inside their enclosures are freshwater pools, which are refilled with clean water every two to three days.
They also feature a water sprinkler system which creates a damp and refreshing environment during the hottest part of the day.
Various fruits are also placed in and around the pools to keep the bears hydrated.
A charity known as Wildlife SOS (WSOS) has been providing a constant supply of cooling measures to keep the mammals comfortable and happy at Bannerghatta Bear Rescue Centre in India.
British charity International Animal Rescue (IAR) is partnered with WSOS and is contributing to efforts to keep the bears’ temperatures at a healthy level.
The organisations have launched an urgent appeal as they work tirelessly to help animals in rescue centres deal with extreme heat.
Red weather warnings have recently been issued for several areas in northwest India.
One of these areas is Agra, which is home to the country’s largest bear rescue facility managed by WSOS and funded by IAR.
