They whiz along a busy road with the large reptile in tow.

Its tail hangs off the edge of the man’s arm.

Thankfully, the crocodile’s mouth was securely taped during the ride.

The peculiar scenario was captured on camera on 31 August in the Manjalpur area in Vadodara city, Gujarat, India.

The video has since gone viral online.

The men on the scooter are volunteers from the Indian Medical Association (IMA).

They transported the reptile after it reportedly got stranded, as reported by Need To Know.

Recent floods caused by excessive rain have caused Vadodara to experience an unexpected surge in crocodile sightings.

Over the past four days, authorities, volunteers and NGOs have rescued at least 25 crocodiles from a variety of Locations in the city.

Among these was a reptile that was previously contained in a zoo after killing a 54-year-old woman in 2020.

This particular crocodile was recaptured after it managed to escape its enclosure during the floods.
