A crook with a Deliveroo bag was caught stealing the wing mirrors from a Tesla.
The electric car’s inbuilt CCTV system captured the chilling moment he approached on a bicycle.
He was filmed through the railings in a car park where the Tesla had been left.

The man was seen first on the rear video camera.
The thief – with a face covering on – then was seen approaching the vehicle from across the cinema car park.
He was seen tampering with the passenger side mirror on the camera located on the side.
Clad in a black coat and light trousers, he then paused to get something from the bag on his back.
He then cut the cable removing the wing mirror from the Tesla before being spotted on the rear camera again as he walked around the car.
In the one minute and 47 second video, he then did the same on the driver’s side.
The crook was spotted once again walking around the back of the Tesla and then on the passenger side one.
But as he walked off, he was seen carrying a blue Deliveroo bag, as reported on Need To Know.
It happened in the Hollywood Bowl car park off the A1000, High Road, in North Finchley, north London.
One local said: “He could have worked for Deliveroo.
“Or he could be a fake delivery rider.”
The theft occurred at 11:45pm on 28 August.
The Met Police and Deliveroo have been approached for comment.
