An unsuspecting woman had her phone stolen by an e-bike thief on Britain’s busiest shopping street.
The victim stopped on Oxford Street in central London to look at her mobile.
But as she paused at the junction of Regent Street near the Microsoft shop, the menacing crook appeared from behind her.

He veered onto the pavement and pinched the phone from her grasp.
The area was packed with pedestrians at the time.
She had no time to react before the crook – clad all in black – sped off.
He glanced at a passerby who happened to catch the shocking moment on video.
The thief then sped off into the distance yesterday (29/9) morning.
It follows a worrying spate of similar crimes across the capital, as reported on Need To Know.
The witness said: “Yo man, you see.”
He then approached the victim and added: “I videoed him.
“I videoed him straight away.”
Angry Londoner Kevin Sexton fumed: “Where’s the police?
“Why they not catching these thieves?
“So easy to spot dressed like this on bikes and we have cameras on every street but still they can’t stop this crime?
“No law and order, pathetic times we live in under Mayor Khan’s watch.”
Stewart Miller said: “No number plates or IDs on the bikes.
“Cops should be stopping them and causing the bikes each and every day.”
Sam Solanki added: “You go over the speed limit in a 30mph zone and you get a ticket through the post.
“All these cameras and you can’t catch these phone thieves.
“Where’s the police now?”
Another – called Phil – said: “One of the busiest tourist shopping areas in London, where are the visible police?
“They are there but targeting pickpockets, with gangs changing everyday if they are caught.
“No deterrent equals high returns.”
The Met Police has been approached for comment.
