A former police officer was shot and killed in front of his wife.
André da Silva Aleixo was blasted outside his home while walking his dog
It happened yesterday (Oct 7) morning and was captured on CCTV.

In the footage, the ex-military police officer can be seen leaning against his car outside his home in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
A grey vehicle then pulls up.
Two hooded men jump out of the car and one fires a shot at André.
André’s wife then runs out into the street and can be seen pleading with the men to leave.
They get back in the car and appear to be driving away but they suddenly stop and reverse.
The men jump out of the car for a second time and André’s wife tries to fight them off.
While one holds André’s wife back, the other fires a second shot at him, as reported by Need to Know.
Eventually, they speed away and a passerby rushes over to help but André passed away before police arrived.
Witnesses confirmed that two hooded men in a car shot in his direction just after he left the house.
In André’s car, a 9mm Glock pistol and two backpacks with around £35,624 (257,000 Brazilian Real) in cash, a ninja cap and a pair of black gloves were found.
Cops are hunting the gunmen.
An investigation is underway.
