A ‘monster’ mum has been sentenced for the murders of her two children.
Lisa Snyder was convicted in the hangings of her eight-year-old son Connor and four-year-old daughter Brinley in September 2019.
The 41-year-old, from Pennsylvania, has been given two life sentences without parole, reports Need To Know.

The prosecution alleged that Snyder attempted to pin the blame on Connor, claiming he had told her he wanted to die after being bullied at school, and “didn’t want to die alone”.

The claim was dismissed by family members, and the victims’ 22-year-old brother Owen described his mother as a “monster”.

Snyder claimed that she called the police after finding her two children hanging in the basement from opposite ends of the same dog lead – which prosecutors say she purchased the day before the murders.
