A 12-year-old boy was miraculously found alive in the woods after going missing three days earlier.
An official spotted Lionel Vicente Álvarez in the hills around Susulá near Mérida, Mexico, at around midday on Tuesday (29 October).
He showed no signs of injury or dehydration.

He was assisted by firefighters and paramedics, who found him to be in good health.

On Saturday (26 October), Lionel left his home in nearby Ciudad Caucel, where he was last caught on CCTV.

He walked several miles into the dense wilderness around Susulá.
The Yucatán state authorities issued an amber alert the next day (30 October) after he failed to return home.
The emergency services used two K9 rescue dogs and flew drones over the area in a bid to track him down.
Concerned locals and his worried family also joined in the search efforts.
Minutes after being found, he was reunited with his grateful parents.
The authorities are now investigating what happened during his time in the woods, as reported by Need To Know.
Images show how Lionel was wearing a blue T-shirt and shorts when he was found.
Bafflingly, local media say he was dressed in a dark grey T-shirt with red and green stripes and denim trousers at the time of his disappearance.
The Public Security Secretariat said in a statement: “The intense efforts of the search team, along with the invaluable support of Ciudad Caucel residents, have paid off.”
