Harrowing footage shows him dangling limply by his legs in an awkward arc.
He sways slightly several yards above the ground as bystanders look on in horror.

Smoke can be seen rising from the point of contact between his body and the live wires.
The high-voltage current seems to have burnt large holes in the clothes he is wearing.
Other clips show firemen up a ladder as they lift him off the power lines.
The horror scenes unfolded in Maracaibo, Venezuela, on Monday (28 Oct) afternoon.
Some reports say it’s unknown why the man climbed the utility pole.
However, they add that he may be homeless.
Other reports say he climbed the pole to fix some cables.
Neither version has been confirmed by the authorities.
The firefighters managed to bring him down, despite the danger posed by the live wires.
Local media say he was taken to a local hospital with third-degree burns.
His injuries covered more than 60 per cent of his body, as reported by Need To Know.
Remarkably, he survived the high-voltage zapping, albeit in critical condition.
According to local reports, he is currently receiving medical care.
