A young woman fell to her death in a shopping centre after leaning on an escalator rail.
CCTV of the horrific accident shows the woman, who has not been named, reading a leaflet she is holding while resting against the structure.
As her left leg begins to drag, she suddenly loses her balance.

She tries to grip the railing, but fails and falls through a small gap between the escalator and the guard rail.
She fell from the fourth floor and died as a result of the impact, as reported by Need To Know.
People around the woman at the time of the accident were unable to help in time.
In the video, one person can be seen running over to look through the gap.
The devastating incident occurred on the evening of 16 November, at Wanxianghui, a large shopping Centre in Jining City, China.
Just ten days before the tragedy, the building had undergone a security check.
The entire place went under inspection, with tests being carried out on safety exits and evacuation channel settings, among others.
Due to the accident, locals in the area are questioning safety measures at the shopping centre.
