Horror footage shows how a speeding car catapulted a horse to its death after it was led onto a MOTORWAY.
The CCTV images show how the horse steps onto the highway from a side road as it pulls a carriage behind it.
Before it can turn to face the direction of travel, a car hurtles towards it and smashes into it side-on.

The poor animal is tossed into the air as it breaks away from the carriage.
It spins through the air as it hurtles towards some bystanders several yards ahead.
They dart out of the way as the horse hits the roadside with a thud.
It skids further along the road and out of view as the footage ends.
The distressing scenes unfolded on the Delhi-Saharanpur highway near Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Five people sustained serious injuries in the smash on this (9 Dec) morning, according to reports.
The horse is believed to have died as soon as it hit the ground.
The collision was so powerful that the Suzuki Baleno hatchback was left badly mangled.
The carriage, meanwhile, was completely destroyed, as reported by Need To Know.
People present at the scene tended to the injured until the emergency services arrived.
The injured were taken to the district hospital, where they are now receiving treatment.
According to police chief Harish Singh, an investigation into the accident is underway.
