The hooded pair were spotted in the confectionary aisle taking boxes off the shelves and pouring them in their bag.
They emptied whole boxes of chocolate – including Daily Milk, Twirls, Twix and Kinder Buenos – in.
Their Lidl bag-for-life was full to the brim and then was carried out by the crook in the red jumper with a green hood.

His accomplice in a green jacket with a black hood continued to chuck more chocolate in as they left.
One shocked shopper filmed it on their mobile phone as another customer watched on in amazement.
Staff and security were powerless to do anything.
It happened on Saturday (4 Jan) at the Sainsbury’s in Wapping Lane, Wapping, East London.
Locals were left baffled by the bizarre loot, as reported on Need To Know.
One quipped: “They work for Augustus Gloop.”
Another said: “All of the all the things they could steal they nick a few Dairy Milks and Buenos.”
Daniel Davies joked: “They’re not starting a diet in January.”
A fourth added: “They are slightly early for Easter.”
Martin Little said: “Hope they scanned their Nectar card.”
Yet Catherine fumed: Lock the doors and don’t let them out.”
The Met Police and Sainsbury’s have been approached for comment.
