A mother-of-three who had been reported missing has been found in a ‘makeshift tomb’ after her mum warned her to “be careful”.
Alexis Schuler’s remains were found at a home belonging to her boyfriend, Devontae Gray.
Police were investigating the 29-year-old’s disappearance until her body was discovered on 19 January.
According to Prince George’s County Police Department, officers served a search warrant at Gray’s home in Capitol Heights, Maryland.
The 30-year-old has been arrested and charged with murder and related offences.

Police allege he has admitted to killing his girlfriend.
Documents cited by NBC4, WJLA-TV and WCSC-TV, reveal that Alexis’ body was found in a ‘makeshift tomb’.
It was hidden underneath a set of stairs and behind a newly constructed wall inside the property.
The documents also state that Gray stuffed the victim’s body into a plastic storage bin.
He is then said to have poured concrete around the bin before putting up a drywall using fake bricks.
Alexis’ body was recovered under a ‘large amount of soil and hay’, as per the documents reported on by WJLA.

The release also revealed that an examination carried out by The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that she had been shot.
She was reported missing some time last week.
Alexis who was from Washington D.C, shared one child with Gray, as reported by Need To Know. Her mother, Tiwana Schuler, opened up about her daughter’s tragic death to local press.
She stated that she had previously warned her daughter about Gray.

“I told her to be careful,” Tiwana told Fox5 DC.
The mum last saw her daughter on 10 January.
She became suspicious and reported her missing on 14 January.
Gray is being held in the Department of Corrections.
It’s unclear if he has entered an official plea or retained an attorney to speak on his behalf.
