Luckily, nobody was injured as a consequence of her actions.
CCTV footage shows the vehicle going up the footbridge and following its curve round over a river.
The person on the bike keeps to the side and doesn’t appear to be phased by the driver.
As the woman continued toward the exit of the bridge, a pedestrian kept to the side where the railing was.
The driver appeared to slow down after spotting the person and gave them a wide berth.
Police have since been able to identify the woman and are currently determining her fate.
The offence, which took place on the footbridge in Giżycko, north east of Warsaw, Poland, is punishable by a fine of just under £300 and eight penalty points.
If the case is referred to a court, the fine could be increased to up to almost £6,000, as reported by Need To Know.
Local authorities have reminded residents that the bridge is for pedestrian use only.
They have reiterated that the woman’s behaviour posed a serious danger to others and was a gross violation of rules.
