A mum-of-two influencer was allegedly strangled to death by her ex, who then burned her body in his car.
Beatriz dos Anjos was allegedly throttled to death with a seatbelt during a heated row.
The suspect, named Antônio Lício Morais da Costa, 20, then reportedly set his vehicle on fire with the victim’s body inside to cover his tracks.

Firefighters arrived on the scene to deal with the car blaze before finding the 24-year-old influencer’s body in the back.
The grim discovery was made in the early hours of Sunday (30 Mar) morning..
Forensic experts confirmed that she had suffered a violent attack before the car was set on fire in Fortaleza, east of Manaus, Brazil.
The victim leaves behind two young children from a previous relationship, aged seven and one.
The suspect went home and reportedly told his mother about the alleged murder.
She convinced him to turn himself in at the police station.
After handing himself over to the cops, he reportedly told them that he “acted on impulse” and initially thought that she had passed out.
He said he tried to revive her, but then realised she had passed away, it is claimed.
The couple reportedly had a violent relationship for nearly a year, as reported by Need To Know.
The victim’s father, Francisco Edván Miranda, claimed, “They were very jealous of each other.
“He hit her many times, but I didn’t know about it, I found out later.
“She hit him, he hit her.”
The suspect is being kept in police custody after being charged with femicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
Beatriz used to share comedy videos and content about her daily life with her followers.
She had 130,000 fans on Instagram and 119,000 on TikTok.
Her ex-partner featured in many of her clips and was well known to her followers.
In her last ever post, the suspect was seen pushing Beatriz to the ground multiple times while getting castigated by a pal defending her.
Although the clip appeared humorous in places, many followers commented that the “signs were already there”.
