A beauty queen was found buried under a building after she tried to save a child during the earthquake in Myanmar.
Sili Mee was discovered by rescuers who were working through the rubble in search of survivors.
The 28-year-old had become trapped beneath a 12-story apartment complex.

She had gone inside the building to save a child from the disaster.

Sili, who represented Myanmar in Miss Tourism World 2018, regularly shared parts of her life with her 4,800 followers.
A Miss Tourism Myanmar spokesperson said: “The first Miss Tourism Myanmar, who represented Myanmar in the Miss Tourism World 2018 pageant, was trapped in the collapse of the Sky Villa during the earthquake.

“Rescue teams found her lifeless body and confirmed that she was indeed dead.
“Miss Tourism Myanmar Organization and Blessed Entertainment would like to express their deepest condolences to the bereaved family and friends for the unexpected loss of Miss Tourism Myanmar.”
An 8.2 magnitude earthquake struck Mandalay, in Myanmar, last Friday (28 Mar), as reported by Need To Know.

Tremors were felt across neighbouring countries, which included Thailand, Vietnam, and parts of China.
Sili had been missing for five days before she was found.
Over 3,000 people died in the devastating quake.
