The body believed to be of a missing mum has been discovered by her pet dog, two weeks after she went missing.
Sandra K went out for a walk with her French Bulldog, Tinka, but, failed to return home.
The 36-year-old’s disappearance sparked a huge search effort as her family grew increasingly worried for her safety.

She vanished on Easter Monday (21 Apr).
And yesterday morning (5 May), a body was discovered in a wooded area.
Tinka had been discovered nearby by a pet tracking dog and helped lead investigators to the scene, as reported by Need To Know.

Local press reported that the body was not able to be immediately identified as it had been exposed to the elements for a long time.
Forensic technicians are working to confirm the deceased’s identity and an autopsy will be carried out to determine the cause of death.
Sandra’s family have been informed and are certain that the body belongs to their loved one.
Her sister, Lisa Thörmer, regularly posted updates online in the hopes of locating Sandra.

After hearing about the tragic development in the case yesterday, she shared an emotional message online.
She said: “Rest in peace, my beloved sister.
“I will never get over this.
“You were the most amazing person and I will love you forever – just why?

“I will never forget a single moment with you.
“I will never be able to laugh heartily again, my heart is torn into a thousand pieces.”
The body was discovered in a forest located in Benndorf, a municipality in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
Police are continuing to investigate.
