A gigantic crocodile has been captured by locals.
The reptile was more than 14 feet in length and weighed 410kg (903lbs).
Shocking footage highlighted the sheer size of the croc as more than a dozen villagers gathered to restrain it.

Locals were able to secure the animal and hand it over to experts.
They used rope and a blanket to cover part of the animal’s body.

According to officials at the Wildlife Conservation Bureau, the female crocodile was estimated to be over 50-years-old.
More than 20 people assisted in the operation to transfer the animal to the facility, as reported by Need To Know.

Members of the local fire service also helped.
The animal was caught by the Batu Pahat River, in the Parit Lapis area, in Batu Pahat, Malaysia yesterday (7 May) morning.
Officials at the Wildlife Conservation Bureau said that the crocodile would be sent to a wildlife park for conservation.

The Malaysian Civil Defence Force for the Batu Pahat District announced the rescue of the crocodile in a social media post.
It said: “District Operations Control Center (PKOD) Batu Pahat remains consistent in receiving any type of emergency calls.
“Today, Batu Pahat District Operations Control Center has received one case of Capturing Wild Animals involving a crocodile weighing 410kg at the address of Kampung Parit Lapis, Taman Nira, Battu Pahat.
“Batu Pahat District Operations Control Center has arranged the movement and sent three members of other ranks.
“With the cooperation of the Fire and Rescue Department and the public, the crocodile was captured and subsequently handed over to the Batu Pahat Department.”
