A mum-of-three was killed and her body dumped in a river allegedly by her jilted ex.
Amanda Caroline de Almeida left the children with their father and went to a bar with a female friend.
She met a male pal at the bar and he drove her home the next morning (19 May).

As they were arriving, she saw her estranged husband’s car parked on the street.

She asked to be dropped off a little further away and walked the rest of the way home.
It was the last time she was seen alive.
Her family later reported her disappearance to the police in Osasco, east of São Paulo, Brazil.
Detectives began reviewing CCTV footage and caught her ex, Carlos Eduardo de Souza Ribeiro, leaving her house with another man.
They were seen carrying a bundle and loading it into his car boot, as reported by Need To Know.
Carlos, 35, first told the police he had left his car near Amanda’s due to mechanical issues and he had not seen her.
But when confronted with the footage, he confessed to asphyxiating the 31-year-old and dumping her body in the Tietê River.

Carlos’s brother, 38, was arrested on Thursday (22 May) for helping him dispose of the body.
The couple – whose children are 14, seven, and five – had separated just over two months ago, after a 16-year relationship.
They once appeared together on a section of a TV programme called Minha Mulher que Manda – which translates as My Wife Is the Boss.

The brothers are being held in custody on suspicion of concealment of a corpse and – in Carlos’s case – of femicide.
Amanda worked as an event promoter.
The search for her body continues.
