A businessman was pepper-sprayed and cuffed by cops after he tried to save supercars from a fire.
Oscar Gräper, the proud owner of car dealership and repair shop Gräper Automotive, panicked when he received a fire alert from his company’s security system.

Oscar and a few other members of staff quickly sprang into action.
In surveillance footage captured by cameras outside of Gräper Automotive, the fire brigade could be seen outside the building.
A yellow car was reversing out of the showroom when a police officer suddenly appeared.
The officer pushed Oscar in an attempt to get him to move outside.
In the video, the pair exchanged what looked to be harsh words.
Oscar kept gesturing to his cars before one of the officers grabbed him and pushed him away.
Oscar was trying to break free when a second officer grabbed his pepper spray and launched the liquid at the businessman’s face.
Police then detained the entrepreneur, as reported by Need To Know.
On 17 May, Oscar addressed the situation which occurred at the dealership in Moordrecht, South Holland, Netherlands, on his Instagram.
He questioned the way that police handled the situation, and added that it was something he “would not want to experience again”.
Oscar wrote to his 11,500 followers: “Fire in your business, I think it will be every entrepreneur’s worst nightmare.
“Fortunately, it is not too bad, and the fire did not spread due to adequate action and communication with the fire brigade.
“I started running and flying like a rocket to secure as many cars as possible and to act in a way that limits the damage as much as possible.
“This was mainly to protect the possessions of our customers and their pride.
“Something that ultimately three of the many officers thought very differently about and blocked my access.
“Something that strangely enough came out of the blue spontaneously, this can also be seen in the images.

“Pepper spray, on your knees and being taken away in handcuffs – is that really the solution?
“I want to emphasize that I have all the praise for the emergency services that acted as everyone expects from each other, only the stain is on this action of the three police officers.
“I am stopped, I try to distance myself, and as soon as I even turn around and walk away, I am sprayed with pepper spray.

“Even when I sat on my knees with my hands behind my back, it had to be in my face again.
“It is a new experience, something new that I would not want to experience again.”
