A woman got a slithery surprise when an unexpected guest paid a visit to her home and the whole thing was caught on camera.
Anna was left stunned after her Ring doorbell captured a huge chicken snake making an uninvited appearance right at her front door.
The chilling footage shows the snake suddenly dropping down above the camera before slowly sliding out of view.

“I got a motion alert from my doorbell and was shocked to see a wild chicken snake slithering down my wall – something I’d never seen before,” she said.
“It was the first time catching this on video and honestly, it gave me chills.
“I watched it live right after the notification and couldn’t believe it.
“My husband thought it was pretty cool, so I wanted to share it with the Ring community.”
Chicken snakes – a type of non-venomous rat snake – are common in the US and are known for climbing up walls and trees to look for food.
Despite the name, chicken snakes don’t primarily target chickens.
They earned the nickname because they’re known to occasionally raid chicken coops for eggs or chicks – but they actually prefer rodents, which make up the bulk of their diet, reports Need To Know.
The reptiles can grow over eight feet long, while some people say they’ve seen ones as big as 14 feet.
The snake visited Anna’s home in Cypress, Texas, US on 8 May.
