A thief disguised as a popular children’s cartoon character is wanted after he raided a shop.
Police are on the hunt for an unnamed man who set out to commit a crime wearing a Scooby-Doo costume.
He also had a balaclava on to cover his face alongside the onesie, which hid away any clues to his identity.

According to police, he had stolen cash and coins but appeared to not touch any snacks – the one item Scooby-Doo would be interested in the most.
Police are currently investigating the incident.
They believe the man to be a white male who is around 1.75m tall, as reported by Need To Know.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department revealed that the incident occurred at around 3.45 am on 22 June.
They appealed for more information online from the public to help them solve the mystery.
“Hey gang – we need your help solving a mystery,” they said, in reference to the Warner Bros show.
“This individual in a Scooby-Doo suit broke into the Quick Stop on Highway 82 in Duncanville.
Officers responded to the store after the security alarm activated at 3.45 am Sunday.

“The suspect took cash and coins, but no snacks.”
Their post attracted almost 2,000 likes as people online made references to the famous cartoon.
Jeffery joked: “It actually wasn’t Scooby, it was old man Smithers disguised as Scooby Doo. And he would have gotten away with it, if it weren’t for those meddling kids.”

Alberta questioned: “Have you interviewed Fred, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy to see if they were waiting for Scooby in the Mystery Machine?”
“I think someone is trying to frame Scooby,” added Cale.
Beth said: “That’s just too funny……took no snacks.”

“Scooby Dooby doo, where are you,” Jessica added.
