A warning has been issued to tourists visiting a popular UK holiday spot as cops are going undercover.
It’s believed the tactics are being used to bust bad drivers on Cornwall’s roads this summer as the number of holidaymakers increase.
The police’s focus is to identify behaviours that are likely to cause a collision and stopping any vehicles that may be linked to crime.

In the last two days, there’s been four arrests, two cars seized and two people spotted using their phones while behind the wheel, reports Need To Know.

Other offenders include people driving without wearing a seatbelt, without a valid MOT, driving without insurance and one licence has been surrendered due to an eye sight test failure.
“Keeping the roads safe remains our focus,” Jim Gale, operations commander, said.
“These operations are hugely important for us to make sure we’re doing our part in keeping people safe on the road.
“Our priority is to deter dangerous behaviour, educate drivers, and identify those breaking the law in an effort to create a positive, safe, sustainable change.”
Devon and Cornwall Police are issuing drivers to be mindful of the “Fatal Five” which includes drink/drug driving, failing to wear seatbelts, using mobile phones – and other in-car distractions – and health and fitness to drive, as well as speeding.

Drivers who commit any offences could receive a fine and points on their license – and even be taken to court and possibly imprisoned.
Inspector Tony Hannaford added: “We’ll be on the roads looking out for you, whether you know we’re there or not, to put a stop to your dangerous behaviour.
“This action isn’t a one-off. Our officers are on the roads 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will continue to be throughout the year.”
