A 10-year-old girl has died after allegedly being tortured by her dad and his girlfriend.
Rebekah Baptiste was found unresponsive on the side of a road with severe injuries.
Despite being rushed to a medical centre, the young girl died just three days later.

Now her father, Richard Baptiste, and his girlfriend, Anicia Woods, are facing murder charges.
Baptiste, 32, and Woods, 29, from Arizona, in the US, have been arrested in connection with the killing.
They have both been charged with first-degree murder and child abuse.
Rebekah was discovered dehydrated and malnourished on 27 July by Holbrook police officers.
She was taken by police to a local medical centre before being flown to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
She died in hospital on 30 July, as reported by Need To Know.
A court appearance on Monday (4 Aug) heard that, according to medical personnel, Rebekah had been “tortured”.
Prosecutors reported that the child was missing her toenails and there were indications of “child physical abuse, sexual abuse and torture”.
It has also emerged that the 10-year-old’s school contacted the Department of Child Safety 12 times about her welfare.
The school claims no “meaningful action” was taken, as reported by AZ Family.
Damian Hawkins, Rebekah’s uncle, said: “She was black and blue from head to toe.
“She had two black eyes, and they’re thinking the cause of death was a haemorrhage.”
