A new Donald Trump sculpture made of sand has been pooed on by birds.
The life-like model is being created at a tourist attraction popular with holidaying Brits.
But a blob of droppings can be seen on the US President’s nose.

Another bit of bird poo was on Trump’s eyelid.
The replica of the controversial American leader has been tucked away in one corner of Sand City, in Lagoa, Portugal.

A mini digger could be seen in the background.
It is located next to a sand sculpture of the Statue of Liberty.
“The Trump sand sculpture is an incredible likeness,” one tourist told Need To Know.
“But it is tucked away in the corner.
“It is still being made, but that hasn’t stopped some birds pooing on it.”
A plaque reads: “A symbol of immigration and the ideals of freedom, the Statue of Liberty has also become a point of debate during the presidency of Donald Trump.

“Whose migration policy and vision of the role of the United States in the world have generated controversy and reflection on the country’s own founding values.
“Trump, a native of New York, the city where this iconic statue stands, was president between 2017 and 2021.
“Standing out for his confrontational style and decisions that challenged both international allies and domestic traditions.”
The £10-a-visit tourist attraction admitted Trump, 79, is a divisive figure.
But they chose to add him for this summer.

A Sand City spokesperson said: “Sculpting the spotlight at Sand City in the middle of the Algarve sun and sand.
“Our talented artist is mid-process on a striking sculpture of Donald Trump — in front of the Statue of Liberty, which has fallen down.
“Every expression, every detail, carved by hand from just sand and water.
“Love him or not, it’s impossible not to be impressed by the artistry.”
Sand City is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Algarve.
More than 60 artists have created over 160 sculptures out of sand.
Others include Queen Elizabeth II, Cristiano Ronaldo, Paddington Bear, The Simpsons and Star Wars.
