An elderly man was arrested for allegedly stealing more than £1,700 worth of belongings from a tourist and stashing them in his walking frame seat.
A bizarre cop photo shows the silver-haired pensioner leaning on his walker as burly officers led him into the back of a patrol car.
The suspect, reportedly in his 70s, was arrested at an airport.

Investigators were stunned to discover that the suspect was an elderly man who relied on a walking frame.
He was nicked last Monday (18 Aug) at Palma de Mallorca Airport, on the Spanish island, by police and security guards.

He is accused of taking items worth over €2,000 (£1,733) from a tourist in June.
She had just arrived on the island and was about to collect her rental car.
After his arrest, police revealed he had a lengthy criminal record, as reported by Need To Know.
Authorities say he “hid the objects in his walker’s seat and fled the scene quickly” – a claim that left social media users baffled.
One asked: “How out of shape must the police have been to think a man in his seventies with a walker was fast?”

Another remarked: “He can’t run. He can’t even walk.”
A third joked: “Quickly? Was his walker souped-up?”
A fourth quipped: “‘Usain Bolt,’ they call him in the retirement home.”

And a fifth added: “You really can’t trust old folks these days.”
