It happened at Tesco Express on Royston Road, Penge, south London, on Monday (15 Sept), as reported by Need To Know.

The shopper filming could be heard pleading: “Boss, please stop this, please just stop this.
“Just stop it then, stop. Just stop, man, stop.
“Please stop this, just put it down, please. Please stop this man.”
The shoplifter insisted: “No, please.”
When asked to put some bottles back, he shouted: “No, nobody under-f***ing stands.”
He then stormed out.
On his way to the exit, the man grabbed a crate of Stella Artois and walked off up the road in tears.
A Tesco spokesperson said: “Our colleagues work hard to serve customers every day.
“And every member of our team deserves to feel safe at work.”
The Met Police has been approached for comment.
