Every bottle of booze, including Christmas favourite Baileys – costing just £13 – has been slapped with security tags at a branch of Tesco.
A shocked shopper couldn’t believe his eyes when he walked into the alcohol aisle of the supermarket.
All the bottles are covered in netting and have security tags on them.

The measures are to thwart shoplifters.
It was spotted at Tesco Extra, located on Glover Drive in Edmonton, near Tottenham, north London.
The cheapest ones were 70cl bottles of Baileys costing only £13.
The tipple is popular in the yuletide season.
Others are £18.50 bottles of Pimms and £19 Smirnoff and Absolut vodkas, as reported on Need To Know.
The shopper said: “Only in the UK will you see this in supermarkets.”
Last Thursday (25 Sept), another Tesco store had mayonnaise costing just £3.60 with similar security tags.
Napolina Extra Virgin Olive Oil, costing just £5.50, was also available at Tesco Express in Central Square, Wembley, yesterday (25 Sept).
In June, Tesco was mocked for putting security tags on packets of ham costing as little as £2 to stop thieves.
Chicken fillets priced at £2.75 and blocks of Cheddar cheese costing £3.35 were also available at the store in Blackpool.
Tesco declined to comment.
