Man City’s new goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has dined team-mate Erling Haaland’s lucky restaurant.
The Italy national team stopper visited Vero Moderno for the first time after making his £26m switch from PSG.
The 26-year-old tucked into food from his homeland last (1 Oct) night.

The Italian eatery in Salford, Gtr Manc was made famous last May.
Striker Haaland regularly tucks into a pasta, cream and mushroom meal there.
It was dubbed ‘The Hat Trick Pasta’ by owner Beppe Piccoli because he always scored after eating it.

He said: “A true honour to have Gigi Donnarumma with us.
“No more words needed.”
Local John Swainson said: “I knew he’d be next.”
Ian Smith joked: “Is it because your food is just like his momma used to make?”

One – called Phil – said: “Two Italian legends.”
Andy – a fan of rival Man Utd – joked: “He’s a closet red.”
A host of City players – past and present – and manager Pep Guardiola have eaten there, as reported on Need To Know.

Describing the Haaland dish, boss Beppe said: “When I first gave it to him the very first time I met him, it was before the season kicked off.
“I said when you score a hat-trick on Sunday please thank Beppe and veromoderno.co.uk
“He scored a hat-trick didn’t he. It was quite funny. Then he came back and asked for the same pasta.


Regarding gaffer Pep’s visit he added: “Always a great honour to have the Man City boss drop by.
“Doing our bit to keep his genius mind in tip top shape.”
Donnarumma won the Champions League with PSG last season.
He played there for four seasons and made 104 appearances, having previously been at AC Milan.
The goalkeeper is captain for Italy and has been capped 76 times.
He was part of the team that beat England on penalties in the Euro 2020 final, saving two spot kicks.
