Blood from the body left a trail leading back to a house where a crime may have been committed.
She was accompanied by a man who managed to escape when the officers intervened, according to reports.
After determining there was a corpse in the wheelbarrow, the cops followed the blood splatters on the ground until arriving at a nearby house in Ciudad Juárez, south of El Paso, Mexico.
The suspect was placed under arrest and taken to the police station at around 11.30pm on Saturday (27 Sept).
The 26-year-old is accused of crimes related to the burial, exhumation, and disrespect of a corpse as well as for disobedience and resisting arrest.
It’s unclear how the victim, named as Juan José H.G., died and whether Johana is suspected of taking part.
She is currently being kept in preventive detention with a court hearing scheduled for tomorrow (3 Oct), as reported by Need To Know.
The police released several mugshots of the suspect.
