Tatiana Murillo has turned herself into a living doll after years of torment over her looks – but the journey has been anything but glamorous.
The influencer, now in her 30s, has had more than 17 cosmetic surgeries, including seven brow lifts and full-body skin lightening, in her quest to become the ‘Colombian Barbie’.
She’s now amassed over a million followers across social media, where she openly documents the painful reality of her extreme transformation.

Growing up in Caicedo, northwest of Medellín, Tatiana said being a ‘Barbie’ was the ultimate beauty standard – one she felt she could never live up to.
‘I wasn’t very pretty, to say the least,’ she told local media, according to Nude Newz.
She was mocked not only for her appearance but also for her family’s rural, working-class background.
‘My parents have always been farmers,’ she added.
Her surgeries have left her face swollen and her skin peeling, with the influencer frequently posting raw updates of her recovery.

After undergoing skin bleaching treatments, she admitted: ‘My skin has turned red, flaked, it has hurt, and I’ve been through everything.’
But the controversy doesn’t end with her own procedures.
Tatiana’s daughter, now 13, has already had cosmetic surgery on her lips and nose – with her first procedure taking place when she was just 12 years old.
Defending the decision, Tatiana said: ‘I had her undergo surgery so she could be my successor and become Barbie.’
The move sparked fierce criticism online, but the influencer has pressed on with her vision.
Recently, she shared a throwback photo of herself as a teenager, leaving fans stunned.
In the image, she’s almost unrecognisable – with dark hair, naturally tanned skin, a different nose shape and much thinner lips.

She captioned the post: ‘Revenge is never good, but to seek revenge like this? Yes, it’s very satisfying.’
Reactions were mixed, with one follower writing: ‘But the thing is, she was also very beautiful before.’
Others questioned how she could afford such extensive work, while some urged her to focus on self-acceptance rather than physical transformation.
Still, for Tatiana, the painful journey is deeply personal – a way of reclaiming control over the image she was once bullied for.
Whether empowering or divisive, her story continues to spark debate online.
