A 26-year-old bride-to-be was killed by a car as she walked to her driving lesson.
Simge Bayram was just a month away from her wedding.
She was on her way to her local driving school at the time.

Simge was struck while using a pedestrian crossing on Monday (17 Nov) evening.
After being hit, she was dragged along the tarmac for several yards, suffering catastrophic injuries.
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene after horrified witnesses called for help, as reported by Need To Know.
Covered in blood, Simge was given first aid before being taken to the ICU of a local hospital in Denizli, Turkey.
Despite doctors’ efforts, she could not be saved.
The driver, identified as S.T., was taken into custody. No charges had been reported at the time of writing.

Simge worked as a physiotherapist at a private hospital and had been preparing to marry civil engineer O.Ç. in a month.
She will be laid to rest in Kaymakçı, south-east of İzmir, following a post-mortem examination.
