A drink driver was arrested after being caught over three times the legal limit.
Inebriated Ionut Butu was videoed emerging unsteadily from the car after being pulled over by police.
A CCTV operator raised the alarm after seeing him get behind the wheel of a car on leaving a pub.
Bodycam footage showed him blowing into a breathalyser and then being arrested after it showed he was over triple the legal limit.
He provided a roadside breath sample of 124, which is three and a half times the legal limit of 35 micrograms per 100ml of breath.
He has now been banned from getting behind the wheel for two years.
It happened in Stevenage, Herts, as reported by Need To aKnow.
A spokesperson for Herts Police said: “A drink driver from Stevenage won’t be having a very merry Christmas after being banned from getting behind the wheel for two years.
“In the early hours of Sunday 16 November, Ionut Butu, aged 35 and of Torquay Crescent, Stevenage, decided to drive the one mile journey to his home.
“He was stopped by officers having been spotted by a CCTV operator getting behind the wheel of a car after leaving a pub in the High Street.
“He provided a roadside breath sample of 124, which is three and a half times the legal limit.
“The legal limit is 35 micrograms per 100ml of breath.
“Road policing patrols are increased throughout the month of December, and officers will breathalyse drivers following a road traffic collision, a moving traffic offence or when drink driving is suspected.
“Don’t drink and drive, it’s not worth the risk.
“Remember, our officers can’t be everywhere – but they could be anywhere – please call 999.”
