Seventeen dogs were rescued by firefighters from a burning house.
The animals were carried out under the arms of emergency responders and loaded into a car.

By the time help arrived, five people had already escaped on their own, but the residents had not been able to get the dogs to safety.
Inside the house, several cages suggest some of the animals may have been locked in during the fire.
The blaze – which took place in Kemerovo, Siberia – caused material damage but no loss of human life, as reported by Need To Know.
Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement yesterday (8 Jan): “Every life matters to us.
“In Kemerovo, on Abyzov Street, flames engulfed a house and outbuildings.
“Before firefighters arrived, five people managed to evacuate on their own, and 17 dogs were rescued by emergency services.
“The fire completely scorched and partially collapsed the wooden roof of the house, while the walls of the outbuildings were burned both inside and out.
“The 172-sq-m blaze was extinguished by 30 emergency workers using six vehicles.”
