Viewers have been left shocked after a dog that looked “frozen alive” fell through an icy lake – but miraculously survived.
A mutt that had wandered onto the ice had found itself in a life-or-death situation after crashing through into the water.
Once submerged in the “frigid” water, the conditions were so severe that the animal was unable to climb back to safety.

Fortunately, a rescue crew arrived on the scene quickly, located the terrified mutt and pulled it to safety.
Shocking bodycam footage of their heroics racked up a whopping 143,000 likes online.
The operation took place on 19 January, as reported by Need To Know.
Thankfully, the dog is now doing well and is expected to make a full recovery.
The dog fell into a frozen lake in St Louis, Missouri, US and was saved by the Marine Rescue Task Force from the St Louis fire department.
Their spokesperson said: “In the grip of single-digit temperatures, a dog wandered onto the ice and suddenly found itself in a life-threatening situation.
“The ice gave way, leaving the dog trapped in frigid water, unable to swim to safety as the cold quickly took its toll.
“Crews launched, navigated the frozen conditions, and reached the dog just in time, carefully pulling it from the icy water and bringing it to safety.
“We’re happy to report the dog is doing well and is expected to make a full recovery.”
