A woman has died after falling from a hot air balloon and landing on the roof of a high-rise.
Three women were on board when the balloon struck a block of flats at around 8am today (9 Mar).
One, aged 28, fell from the gondola onto the building’s roof.

When paramedics arrived by helicopter, they found her unconscious. Despite resuscitation efforts, she could not be saved.
The other two women made an emergency landing and managed to climb out of the gondola on their own.

They were tended to at the scene in Zielona Góra, Poland, and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
They remain in stable condition, as reported by Need To Know.
The collision occurred about an hour and a half after the flight took off from the aeroclub in nearby Przylep.
Footage shows the gondola lying on a road next to a bus, with the torn balloon tangled in tree branches above.
The woman who died was a licensed pilot, according to the Zielona Góra police.

All three on board were members of the Lubuskie Region Aero Club, which acquired the Czech-made balloon on 1 May last year.
The flight was not a commercial one, and the aeroclub says the balloon was being used, in part, for pilot training.
Representative Katarzyna Mayer-Bzowa told local media: “The investigation is being conducted by the police, and for now we will not release any further details. We are deeply affected by this incident.”
A statement from the City of Zielona Góra added: “Traffic disruptions are expected to last at least five hours, until the State Commission for Aircraft Accident Investigations completes its preliminary assessment.”
