A high-adrenalin ‘skywalker’ has sparked awe and outrage by performing death-defying stunts on top of tall buildings without any safety equipment.
Carlos Rengifo combines parkour, martial arts, and free running to perform high-risk stunts at great heights, such as handstands on narrow ledges.
He also spends his time riding his bike along precarious edges thousands of feet above the streets.
The extreme athlete, known as the ‘Skywalker of Caracas’, has been building up his skills over 14 years.
The 32-year-old said he started with conventional sports before turning to kung fu and discovering parkour on YouTube at the age of 18.
He later worked as a window cleaner on tall buildings, where he embraced the rush of extreme heights.

In one video, Carlos, from Venezuela, is seen riding his bike along a thin concrete ledge with the city far below.
In another clip, he performs pull-ups while dangling precariously between two skyscrapers.
Carlos has tackled local landmarks such as the 740ft-tall Parque Central towers and the 560ft Torre de David.
He has also scaled the Cruz de El Morro in Caracas, painting the monumental cross without shoes or protection.
Following his arrest in 2016, Carlos said he treats the authorities as a bigger obstacle than the heights.
The daredevil influencer told Need To Know that “life is a permanent risk”, stressing that only rigorous training offers him real safety.
He said he meticulously studies sites for weeks, evaluating wind, surfaces and structure, before acting swiftly to evade detection.
Carlos added: “I’m a daredevil doing irresponsible stunts without a safety harness.
“Parkour is like breathing, it helps us overcome both physical and psychological obstacles.”
He also credits daily training – including yoga – and profound respect for the structures for keeping him alive over the years.
Carlos positions himself as the first Venezuelan to self-document such skywalking feats.
He now seeks sponsors to help produce his proposed documentary ‘Skywalker’, highlighting the discipline, mental fortitude and resilience behind the stunts.
