Among those caught up in the chaos was Tolami Benson, who was supporting her fiancé Bukayo Saka from the friends and family section.
The influencer and other relatives of England stars reportedly came under a barrage of liquid thrown from nearby stands as tensions boiled over inside the packed Azteca Stadium.
England’s loved ones were forced to shield themselves with ponchos as cups and drinks rained down during the pulsating 3-2 victory on 6 July.

Tolami later shared footage appearing to show liquids being thrown through the crowd during wild celebrations, as reported by Need To Know.
The clip sparked a flood of reactions from England supporters, many warning that the substances involved may not have been limited to beer.
One person said: “They wish that was just beer.”
Another fan added: “Yeah that isn’t beer, it’s a whole lot of p*ss.”
A third person wrote: “Damn, this is wild.”
One fan commented: “Probably not beer gents.”
Another person said: “I’ve never been more disgusted.”
England supporters Paul and Kevin Franklin said they experienced similar scenes during the match.
The brothers spent £20,000 on a World Cup road trip covering 4,500 miles across 25 states before travelling to Mexico for the round-of-16 clash.
Paul said: “The beer and p*ss – we were covered in it.
“They weren’t afraid of letting us know they had scored or weren’t happy we had scored.
“The Mexican fans, wow, what a noise.
“They hit 150 decibels at times.
“It was ear splitting, constant and passionate.
“The match had it all, one of the best I’ve witnessed.
“The England players were incredible.
“It was spine tingling, nerve wracking, emotional and a whole lot of fun.”
Despite the unpleasant reception, England fans celebrated long into the night after the thrilling victory.
Thousands are now expected to travel to Miami for the quarter-final clash against Norway at Hard Rock Stadium on 11 July.
