A rising rapper has been stabbed to death after an argument turned deadly, with a woman now charged over the killing.
Krystal Jordan, 28, who performed under the stage names Judy World and Play Girl Judy, died after she was allegedly stabbed in the leg during the confrontation.
Police say the incident unfolded at a home in Houston, Texas, on Saturday (11 July) night.
Officers arrived to find a bystander desperately trying to save Jordan’s life after she suffered a stab wound.
Paramedics rushed the rapper to hospital, but she later died from her injuries.
Kayla Wynita Rodgers, 28, was detained at the scene before later being charged with manslaughter, according to court records.

Jordan’s heartbroken family say they believe the charge should be upgraded to murder.
The rapper’s brother said Jordan inspired those around her and had been passionate about music for years.
A balloon release in her memory has been planned by family and friends later this week.
Jordan also leaves behind a 10-year-old daughter, with loved ones launching a GoFundMe campaign to help support the youngster following her mother’s death.
The investigation remains ongoing.
