Fuming Brits kicked off as one woman tried to jump the queue they stood in all night to catch coveted Pokémon cards.

Across the UK, toy shops saw their busiest opening in decades as thousands of punters eagerly anticipated the special release.

In true British fashion, large orderly queues began forming in the middle of the night, hours before the stores even opened.

However, on the morning of 16 Sep, minutes before the doors opened, chaos broke out, as reported by Need To Know.

Disgruntled fans had spotted one woman trying to sneak into the queue at Smyths toy store in the Tollgate Centre, Colchester.

One man confronted the lady, who was protesting her innocence.

In the clip, you can hear him say: “We’ve been here all night, darling, all night.

“None of these people saw you.”

Another young fan piped up, claiming: “I’ve been here for more than 12 hours.”

Two builders who run the page ‘Liam and Sherv’ had also waited in the queue for hours and captured the mayhem on camera.

The 24- and 25-year-olds watched on at 8:50 am as the manager assisted with ejecting suspected queue jumpers.

They said: “People were furious about getting kicked out of the queue.

“Especially one lady saying she was there overnight and she decided to come to the car park with her food stand to serve hot food.

“Apparently she had reserved a space, but then that was shortly shut down by someone else in front of the queue, saying we didn’t see her all night.

“People were saying previously on another drop months ago she was queueing at the front and she got around 6 children to join her at the last minute so she could get more Pokémon stock.

“But the reason people were getting kicked out of the queue was that the toy store manager was standing on business.

“He wanted to treat people fairly.”

The clip racked up over 100,000 views and left fans stumped by the behaviour.

One person said: “It’s so sad to see what Pokemon has turned into.”

One commented: “12 hours in a queue to make £50 on eBay. They ever thought of just putting a shift in?”

Smyths toy store has been approached for a comment.
