A couple were left stunned after their car was written off in a mystery attack by masked vandals.
Doorbell camera footage captured the hooded pair wrecking the people carrier with shovels in the middle of the night.
The vehicle was parked on a road when the bizarre attack took place in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham.

Owners Sharon and Mark say they are baffled by the random violence, as reported by Need To Know.
Mark said: “Thinking it’s clever smashing a car up.
“They’re rotten to the core.
“We honestly have no idea, but it’s definitely deliberate.
“The car is written off.
“It was Sharon’s.
“She has got autism and ADHD.
“And we rely on it for everyday life.
“She sometimes has seizures, so I need to be able to pick her up if she has a seizure while out shopping.
“It has happened before, and I had to pick her up.”
