This is the terrifying moment a nine-year-old boy runs across five lanes of traffic before being hit by a huge truck.
Shocking dashcam footage shows the youngster sprinting into the busy road despite the pedestrian signal being red.
He races across the first section and reaches a central safety island – but instead of stopping, continues straight into the next stream of traffic.

An orange truck suddenly bears down on him as he desperately tries to stop.
The boy collides with the side of the vehicle and is sent crashing to the ground as his belongings scatter across the road.
Incredibly, he then manages to get back to his feet.
The youngster picks up his belongings and limps towards the safety island before sitting down and lying back in apparent pain.
A passing motorist can then be seen approaching him to help.
The terrifying incident happened at the junction of Lei Yue Mun Road and Ko Chiu Road in Yau Tong, Hong Kong, shortly after 4pm on Thursday (17 Sep), as reported by Need To Know.
Police said the nine-year-old had attempted to cross five lanes of traffic spanning two sets of traffic lights.
The pedestrian signal was red when he ran into the road.
Footage appears to show the truck braking as the youngster darts into its path before its right-hand side clips him.
Local reports said the vehicle initially continued along the road before eventually stopping after other motorists sounded their horns.
Emergency services were called and the boy was taken to hospital while conscious.
Police said he suffered injuries to his fingers and waist.
Despite the dramatic impact, his injuries were not reported to be life-threatening.
The footage has since circulated on social media, sparking warnings over road safety.
