A brazen fly-tipper was caught bed-handed dumping a mattress in a town centre before casually walking off in front of shocked passers-by.
The man, wearing shorts and a T-shirt, was filmed carrying the mattress before leaning it against a metal fence and strolling away.
Authorities in Grimsby, Lincs, are now trying to trace him.

The incident happened on Patrick Street, near an underpass beneath Peaks Parkway, Need To Know.
A North East Lincolnshire Council spokesperson said: “Looking for a new one-bed, open-plan living space?
“Then this mattress might be the one for you!
“In the heart of Grimsby, this delightful fly-tipping comes with a skylight and easy access to the town centre.
“Can you help us identify this man – we need to remind him about our bulky waste service and the tip it would seem.”
The council said footage showed a man wearing a black T-shirt and dark green shorts leaving the mattress against the railing before walking towards the underpass.
The council is continuing its investigation and is appealing for the public to come forward with any information.
The spokesperson added: “In the footage, there are also a number of people in the area that would have seen the incident and the face of the man involved who they wish to speak to.”
