A wild boar went on a rampage through a city centre before charging at a woman inside a nightclub.
The animal stunned revellers as it raced through Zaragoza, Spain, in the early hours of Sunday (18 October), darting along busy streets and even running between tram tracks.
After being alerted to the tusked creature, police, firefighters and an animal rescue unit were mobilised to try to corner the animal and guide it out of the city.

But the boar continued its chaotic dash through the centre before reaching the historic Old Town.
As the chase continued, officers warned pedestrians: “Watch out for the wild boar. Please be careful.”
The animal eventually entered a bar, where it charged at a woman, causing minor injuries. According to reports, it also bit another reveller.
The bar’s owner and several customers managed to subdue the animal and kill it using a bladed weapon.
By the time police entered the premises, the boar was already dead.
Its body was later removed by the city’s collection service, as reported by Need To Know.
One eyewitness told local media: “We thought someone had fallen over. Then I looked down and saw something furry and thought a dog had come in.
“Then I looked at the dancefloor and saw it was a wild boar and everyone was moving away in fear in case it attacked someone. The security guards were trying to catch it.”
The boar’s late-night dash happened during the final weekend of Zaragoza’s Pilar Festival, when crowds had gathered to enjoy concerts and nightlife.
Animal rights group Amnistía Animal has since announced legal complaints against the bar, those responsible for killing the boar and Zaragoza City Council.
The group described the killing as “barbaric” and claimed the animal had been “murdered in cold blood”.
It also accused the council of “ineptitude” over its handling of the incident.
It has announced plans for a public demonstration, although a date and location have yet to be confirmed.
