Taking to social media, she has given her account of the events.
Ashlea states that the arrest was allegedly linked to videos she made from July onwards, where she claimed to identify several HMOs in her hometown of Walkden, Salford.
Previous posts claims police had “raided” her home whilst she was abroad and that she was aware of an “arrest warrant”..
A social media post on her account reads: “Ashlea Simon has been arrested by Greater Manchester Police after landing at Manchester airport from a family holiday.

“This arrest relates to Ashlea’s social media reports visiting flat-packed HMOs in Salford.
“Ashlea has done nothing wrong – she is only reporting on local news-worthy events.”
A spokesperson for the Greater Manchester Police said: “We have arrested a 37-year-old woman on suspicion of conspiracy to cause criminal damage, in connection with an investigation in Salford.
“She has since been bailed pending further enquiries.”
According to reports, 50 incidents are currently being investigated by police, where HMOs and family homes have been vandalised and cars targeted.
