A discarded wig has formed a new lead in the search for a missing young mum with the search ramping up.
Christina Munn-Holiday vanished after a mysterious car crash took place on a bridge.
The 22-year-old has not been heard from since eyewitnesses claimed they saw her leaving the vehicle following the accident.

On 27 Oct, a major breakthrough took place after DNA tests confirmed a wig found near the crash site belonged to Christina, as reported by Need To Know.
The shocking revelation came almost a month after she vanished on 30 Sep.

The mother allegedly abandoned her grey BMW on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge in Iberville Parish, Louisiana, USA.
The crash took place in the early hours of the morning whilst she was allegedly travelling to the Baton Rouge, Louisiana, area.
The day prior, Christina had left her son with her parents in Katy, Texas.
Louisiana State Police arrived at the crash scene where they found the occupants of the second vehicle – whilst hers was abandoned.

Witness reports state a woman matching her description walked away from the scene whilst her phone last pinged at that location before being shut off.
On 23 Oct, the cops arrested Sandrea Davis, 21, charging her with reckless operation with accident in connection to the initial crash.
Authorities outlined that this arrest is strictly related to the traffic collision and not the ongoing missing person case.
The wig was discovered weeks before the DNA test confirmed it belonged to Christina.
The family have now launched a GoFundMe to help support their search for the missing mother.

Keisha Hopkins said: “Our family is asking for help as we continue searching for Christian “Chrissy” Munn Holliday, a 22-year-old young woman who went missing following an accident on I-10 near mile marker 128 on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge in Louisiana.
“This GoFundMe was created with the full permission and support of Chrissy’s parents, Lareshia and Robert Munn.
“Her family has been travelling back and forth between Texas and Louisiana, speaking with law enforcement, checking hospitals, following leads, visiting locations connected to the case, and doing everything possible to find her.
“They are now in need of 3,000 to pay the Private Investigator.

“Chrissy is so much more than a missing person. She is a mother, daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, cousin, and friend who is deeply loved by so many.
“Most importantly, she is a devoted mother to a 4-year-old son who is her entire world, and her family is desperate to bring her home to him.
“There are still many unanswered questions surrounding what happened after the accident.
“Another vehicle was involved, and the individuals connected to that vehicle and the circumstances surrounding the crash are among the areas being looked into as the family continues seeking answers.

“We are following every lead and working to understand exactly what happened to Chrissy after the crash.
“We now need additional resources to continue this search. Donations will help with hiring a private investigator, retaining an attorney, lodging, gas, transportation, meals, and other expenses associated with travelling between Texas and Louisiana.
“These costs are growing quickly, but Chrissy’s family cannot stop searching. Their focus remains the same: finding their daughter and bringing her home to her little boy and the family who loves her.”
