A desperate driver armed with a pool cue was spotted clinging onto his car whilst a tow truck attempted to drive off with it.
Spencer Thompson could not believe her eyes when she spotted a man hanging from the side of a moving vehicle.
The 26-year-old quickly pulled out her phone to record the bizarre incident when the man, who had a pool cue in his hand, fell from the truck.

According to the cook, when the vehicle approached, there were a number of men yelling and hanging off the side of the tow truck, trying to get the driver to stop.
“What originally caught our attention was the yelling,” Spencer, from Charlotte, North Carolina, told Need To Know.
“We could hear it before we saw anything, and then we saw the tow truck approaching, and I saw a man hanging onto the side.
“He was trying to offer him money to get him to stop the truck.
“As the tow truck was about to cross an intersection, the man holding onto the window of the passenger side tripped and fell down onto the road.”
The shocking clip was captured on 27 Sep around 11:30 pm in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Spencer claims that Chicago is notorious for having limited spaces to park – with many cars at risk of being towed.
She had gone to visit her friend to celebrate her birthday, and the pair were waiting for an Uber when they spotted the truck.
She said: “We noticed he was holding a pool stick. There is a bar nearby called Emporium that has pool tables, so we came to the conclusion that they had come from that bar and were trying to prevent their car from being towed from a tow zone in the area.
“We stopped and asked the man if he was okay, but he brushed off our advances and went back to the bar.
“The man who fell had injured his head, but he walked off, so we can only hope that he made it home safely.
“His friend continued to hold onto the driver’s side window until they crossed the intersection, at which time the tow truck driver honked his horn multiple times to get the man to get off the window.”
The clip racked up over 368,000 views after going viral online.
